YAMAHA XTO OFFSHORE LAUNCHED AT DIBS
When it comes to outboards, Yamaha’s 350 V8 has always been a top choice for local sport fisher builders and owners. But as Middle Eastern and American boats are growing ever longer and larger, the Japanese manufacturer has now launched an even more powerful outboard, the XTO Offshore.

Revealed at the Dubai International Boat Show by Al Yousuf Motors, the 5.6 litre V8 produces 425 horsepower, and has enough torque to warrant the production of new breed of propellers, named the XTO OS. With an increased blade surface, these props are specially designed to move big fishing boats, and with the likes of Contender, Regulator, Grady-White and Pursuit already using the big four strokes, the XTO has the makings of an offshore icon.
This is an integrated outboard system, designed to push the heaviest offshore boats.
