Italian shipyard VSY is best known for building the highly regarded superyachts Sealyon (ex Candyscape II), RoMa and Stella Maris, with the latter the forerunner to the new entry level VSY, the 65M Waterecho.
Espen Oeino is responsible for the exterior lines, with the interior design courtesy of Dante O. Benini & Partners Architects.
Sustainability is Waterecho’s philosophy with the project focusing on minimising the superyacht environmental impact.
Espen Oeino also penned the VSY 77 M, again an evolution of the ever-popular Stella Maris. Here, the Norwegian designer incorporated powerful external lines into the hull with large open spaces and high internal heights defining the interior.
Highlights included the upper deck, with its wider cockpit with two chill out zones and a winter garden.
