TEAM ITALIA HIGH TECH INTEGRATED CONSOLES

The gap between superyacht bridges and science fiction is getting ever closer with launch of Team Italia’s highly logical, integrated consoles. These high-tech bridges mix ergonomics with mechatronics (the discipline studying forms of interaction of mechanics, electronics and information technology for system automation) and a high dose of Star Trek style. This year, Team Italia’s consoles will be boldly going into the wheelhouse of the new 105 metre Benetti, as well as an 80 metre Columbus and Sanlorenzo’s 62 metre. Projects currently being completed with Team Italia bridges include the Pershing 140, Codecasa’s F74, Riva’s 50 metre and a high tech Perini Navi tender. www.team-italia.it
