Is this the ultimate crossover? The new Brabus Shadow 900 XC Cross Cabin is the latest incarnation of the dynamic and highly accomplished 37-foot range of super-boats. Built on the tremendously popular walk-round principle with a centre console and an enclosed salon this Brabus is perfect for taking on any sea conditions and all in complete luxury. The XC Cross Cabin is luxurious but tough, offering an extremely welcoming environment with comfortable, raised seating for up to seven guests.
For the adventurous owner, the stern area is customisable upon request. For example, the deck can be completely free or equipped with a Multi Storage module, which allows you to take on board various water toys, or a wet bar with an electric grill, washbasin and refrigerator. A big sun pad is offered by default on the bow deck, but a dining table is also available as an option.
The bow cabin is finished in typical Brabus sport style. A super-sophisticated grey and black colorway are complemented by contrasting red accents and stitching. Orange stitching is also available, depending on which version of the Shadow you choose. There is a queen-size bed here too and above, the gull-wing doors create a sense of spaciousness inside. Loads of natural light adds a real connection to the environment and a backward-raked windscreen means less glare for the skipper in sunny conditions. The space aft can serves as a storage area for adventure equipment and outdoors-lifestyle gear, or an additional cabin with a queen-size bed can be selected, increasing the number of berths on board to four.
The glass-paneled helm is equipped with two 12-inch user interface screens that have preset cruise modes. Intelligent rudder modules with integrated trim tabs and bow thrusters make boat handling even smoother.
The Shadow is equipped with a pair of high-performance Mercury Racing 450R which combined produce a lively 900 hp. These new powertrains have an excellent power-to-weight ratio and push the Shadow up to a top speed of over 55 knots. That’s plenty fast to excite any guest and if you’ve never experienced a standing start in a Brabus 900, ask the skipper to drop the throttles – it’s a proper smile-inducing experience.
