At 110 metres, Project Disco is best described as neo-retro, as she mixes 50s chic (check out that bow detailing) with modern supercar design, as seen in the sundeck ‘vents’.
Despite its ‘work in progress’ status, yacht designer and SFG’s founder Franco Gianni has already estimated Disco will hit 25 knots courtesy of a pair of MTU 16V 4000 engines.
She’ll also have a large main deck beach club with a glass transom, infinity pool, gym, lounge, nightclub, cinema and a forward helipad with a hangar. Accuracy, intelligence and plausibility are what Franco is all about, as he’s one of the few yacht designers who also happens to have been a superyacht captain.
