RAFA’S ’REEF

Well, for tennis icon Rafa Nadal, commissioning an 80 Sunreef Power was the next logical life-goal. An avid multihull enthusiast, Nadal had already chartered a number of the Polish-built Sunreefs in the past, so knew the 80 was exactly what he needed: “As someone from an island as I am, the sea is part of our lives and it’s not a secret that I love the sea,” said the tennis legend.

“Every time I am at home in Mallorca I try to go out and just enjoy my time on a boat. I am very happy to be on board with the Sunreef Yachts family and would like to thank Mr. Francis Lapp for making this possible.”

Nadal’s full-custom catamaran is due for delivery in 2020, with the model-line making its premiere at the Cannes Yachting festival.
