After extensive sea trials, Istanbul’s Numarine has delivered hull #1 of its 26XP range to her new owner. Reaching a maximum speed of 28-knots, thanks to her semi-planing hull and twin MAN 1550hp diesels, the futuristically designed yacht with her angular windows and 16 metre long flybridge shares much of the larger 32XP’s character and performance. Numarine’s long-term collaborator Can Yalman, designed the 26XP’s exterior and interior, with naval architecture courtesy of Umberto Tagliavini. Hull #2 is also on the way and features a ‘silent package’ utilising lithium ion batteries to run the yacht’s hotel load for up to 12 hours, leaving guests in complete silence to enjoy the lapping of the waves against the hull.
