Italian designer Michele Lubrano Lobianco has worked with many leading shipyards over the past few years, including Ferretti, San Lorenzo, CRN, Baglietto, Heesen, Tankoa, ISA, Dominator and Lurssen.
That’s quite an impressive resume, and one that led him to starting his own studio earlier this year.
The 65 metre Gladius is the first design from the Sirolo-based creative, living up to her name (sword in Latin) boasting some sleek and aggressive lines, matched to a pair of MTUs totaling 11,184 hp.
Taking Da Vinci’s “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” as a mantra, big things are expected of the studio.
