Columbus’ K2 has completed her first sea trials in the Adriatic Sea.
After her launch from the Ancona shipyard, the 40-metre superyacht from the Columbus Sport line opened up her twin 2,600hp MTU turbo diesels to reach a top speed of 21.5 knots.
Cruise speed was a swift 17 knots with the Hydro Tec designed hull consuming 70 l/h at 10 knots. K2 is scheduled to make her official debut at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show in September.
