Bank Hotel Stockholm

Situated in the chic district of Ostermalm in the heart of Stockholm, the Bank Hotel stands as a testament to both the grandeur of history and the allure of modern luxury.

Yachts

This classy hotel forms part of the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection, seamlessly blending historical elegance with contemporary chic, making it the perfect destination for those seeking a sophisticated Scandinavian escape.

A Rich History and a Wise Symbol

Originally starting life as an important bank, the building has evolved into a stylish hotel whilst retaining its historical roots. The owl motif that subtly weaves its way through the hotel’s décor is a nod to wisdom—a symbolic guardian of wealth in the past.

Dining with a View

Bank Hotel is not just a feast for the eyes, but also for the palate. With four distinct dining venues, each offering a unique experience, there is plenty of choice whatever and whenever you feel like eating.

Le Hibou is the hotel’s stylish rooftop restaurant and bar that serves up stunning views of Swedish spires as well as delicious food and is a perfect space for any serious celebration during Stockholm’s long summer with daylight lasting almost all night long.

Bonnies on the ground floor is Inspired by the notorious duo, Bonnie and Clyde where guests eat breakfast and can still see the area where the tellers once sat when the hotel was originally a bank.

We loved our lunch at Papillion, a perfect place for some people watching and to discuss which nearby island you’re going to visit; the strandvagen or avenue along the quayside is just a few easy steps away adding to Bank Hotel’s appeal for a Stockholm city break.

Try the famous and very local Toast Skagen dish here, Bank does it very well but don’t limit yourself to just Swedish food, everything is fresh, tasty and beautifully presented.

With 111 rooms spread across 8 stories, the Bank Hotel manages to combine a lovely blend of modern design with subtle Swedish accents in a building steeped in history. A wise choice for a stylish Scandinavian city break.
