Designed with both early birds and those who like a lie-in in mind, BRIX Café is Dubai’s newest place to enjoy a freshly brewed cup of specialty coffee, baked goods, and an excellent all-day breakfast.
Presenting a laid-back atmosphere that encourages guests to relax and watch the world go by, the harbourside café is helmed by renowned pastry chef Carmen Rueda Hernandez, who brings her magic culinary touch to the café’s freshly baked bread, pastries, desserts, and more, which are all prepared fresh in-house each morning.
BRIX Café is the newest addition to The Lab Holding’s restaurant portfolio, alongside award-winning brands including BRIX Desserts, 3Fils, Kanji, SLRP Ramen and Bordo Mavi – the group’s other newest opening, located next door to BRIX Café.
Sister to Dubai’s only dessert restaurant, BRIX Desserts, which is a few doors down from BRIX Café, the new bakehouse is home to wholesome breakfasts served from 8am to 4pm. On the menu, find delicious rise and shine dishes like buttery scrambled eggs and avocado on a freshly baked croissant roll, sautéed Brussel sprouts topped with poached egg and oyster mushrooms, asparagus, caramelized onions, parmesan cheese and goat’s cheese, a breakfast sandwich filled with tender beef pastrami, emmental and mustard mayo, plus classic favorites like eggs benedict and avocado toast.
For those who enjoy a fruiter start to the day, the yuzu bowl combines yuzu yogurt topped with banana, raspberry, chia seeds, homemade granola, pecan nuts, and mint leaves, while a toasty spread’ is ideal for the undecisive among us – house-baked sourdough rye with a choice of two spreads, including options like hazelnut paste, garlic butter, honey kaymak, parsley butter, raspberry jam and more.
Fresh from the bakery, an array of croissants with a twist await. For a taste of the Levant, the zaatar croissant is filled and topped with Levantine zaatar and cream cheese. Rich and indulgent flavours thrive in the truffle croissant filled with truffle cream cheese, truffle paste, and chives and topped with parmesan and freshly shaven truffle, while the pizza croissant presents an Italian combination of cream cheese, oregano, tomato, and basil.
For those with a sweet tooth, the tiramisu croissant filled with chocolate espresso ganache and mascarpone cream is sure to satisfy, along with the gianduja croissant stuffed with gianduja and topped with hazelnuts pieces, plus the cheesecake croissant layered with raspberry jam, cheesecake cream, and fresh raspberries.
To enjoy alongside a freshly brewed up of coffee or tea, desserts are served from 4pm till 10pm daily, with tempting options like ‘The Rose’ with vanilla mascarpone with lychee gel, vanilla mousse, rose and berry gel plus a hazelnut crunch, ‘Carrot Cake’ comprising carrot cake sponge topped with cheese frosting and garnished with edible orange petals, ‘Paris Brest’ presenting choux dough filled with hazelnut crunch, salted caramel, hazelnut mousse and toasted hazelnuts, ‘Lemon & Basil’ with basil sponge, lemon curd, vanilla mascarpone cream, lime gel, hazelnut crunch and fresh basil, plus much more.
Served with dreamy views over the Arabian Gulf waters, all items of BRIX Café’s menu are made with the highest quality ingredients and created to pair perfectly with the café’s specialty coffee pours and refreshing beverage options including fresh juices and mocktails.
