NY40 is the perfect balance of naval tradition and technological innovation. In world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 6th to 11th, 2022.
A new design born from the common thread between the nautical tradition of powerboats, the precision and attention to detail typical of tailoring, and the continuous research aimed at proposing cutting-edge solutions. Designed to be perfectly adapted to the needs and desires of owners in terms of layout, materials, finishes and engine room equipment, NY40 features a “V” hull designed by engineer Maurizio Zuccheri (Zuccheri Yacht Design) that gives her a sporty, high-performance character. The model on display first at Cannes Yachting Festival and then at the Genoa Boat Show (from 22nd to 27th September) is equipped with two Yanmar 8LV370Z engines – inboard with sterndrive – providing great performance and enabling 35 knots of cruising and 40 knots of top speed.
The inboard engines can be replaced by the outboard one with a choice of three Mercury V300 V8 engines, two Mercury V600 V12 engines or three Mercury 450R engines. Thus, an iconic model is born, conceived through careful study of proportions, similar to classical works of art, unique in their formal balance, play of light, shadow and harmony of all elements. NY40 perfectly identifies with the Nerea Yacht brand and its passion for stylistic and qualitative refinement that has always characterized Made in Italy.
