Isa's sporty Ayrton concept is based on details taken from both the automotive and jet design world.
Yachts
With a strong reference to the world of Formula 1, Project Ayrton’s sporty lines have been penned by Enrico Gobbi of Team for Design with Naval engineering by Palumbo Superyachts. Gobbi has worked with the shipyard to create three models measuring 50, 63 and 70 metres in length with the 63m pictured here the first to be introduced.
Sports styling
The most striking of Ayrton’s design features is the black strip of glazing that cuts through the superstructure at 45 degrees. This is accompanied by the equally sporty, individual hull windows. Streamlined decks have been created to infuse movement, with the superstructure overhangs featuring wing effects, recalling the world of jet design/ aeronautics.
Interior space
Ayrton’s interior will have a refined feel, with an accent on the internal/ external connection given by the large opening floor-to-ceiling windows. There will be room to accommodate up to 12 guests in four double cabins located on the lower deck, with a VIP cabin and the full-beam Owner’s suite on the main deck.
Beach club
The sensational beach club, a project within the project, boasts a window (with waterfall) in place of the traditional stern hatch. Two drop down openings transform the beach club into one of the largest areas on a yacht of this size. In fact, once the tender has been launched, its dedicated area also becomes an integral part of the beach club. The last exclusive detail that completes this area is the access to the main deck, which can be through either the classic ISA Yachts side stairs, as well as through a convenient indoor staircase placed on the port side.
Power
Thanks to two 1800hp Caterpillar 3512C engines, this displacement superyacht will be able to reach a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and cruise at 15 knots. Range, thanks to its efficient steel hull will be more than 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
