Sunreef Yachts has invented a new category of catamaran with its latest announcement.
The Polish shipyard originally brought us the supercat back in 2010 with the launch of its 31-metre Double Deck Ipharra and now, it’s going even bigger with this fully custom 49-metre, megacat.
Imperial Yachts’ project management team will handle the build and when delivered in 2021, she will take over from Pendennis’ Hemisphere, as the world’s largest, luxury, private catamaran.
To put it into scale, the new megacat will have a beam of 17-metres, that’s only 3.8 metres less than that of Azzam, the world’s longest superyacht.
