THE SILVER SPITFIRE
The IWC Schaffhausen sponsored Silver Spitfire is heading to the Middle East this winter, as part of the project’s around the world flight.

Painstakingly built by 15 specialist engineers from Duxford’s Aircraft Restoration Company, the Spitfire has been faithfully restored to as standard as possible, while modifying it for its epic journey, adding six extra fuel tanks and modern communications.
The iconic plane will be calling in at Al Maktoum International Airport, Al Bateen Exec Airport, Bahrain International Airport, Kuwait Airport, Aqaba/King Hussein Int Airport, Hurghada Airport and Cairo International Airport during November.
