You can specify your 860 in a number of colours, which explains a lot about this naturally aspirated V8 monster. Mercury Racing wants it to be seen and not just heard, although with an open exhaust, the 9.0 litre is pretty much eardrum bursting. Going non-turbo means a much snappier throttle response and a more throaty induction roar, too.

Gale Banks has been building high performance engines since most of us have been at school. He also got into tuning diesels early, giving him the ‘racer’s edge’ over his competitors. The 6.6 litre 866T only produces 575hp, but its massive torque will help any boat get on plane in seconds. Gear-based torque management, ODB-II diagnostics help keep the big V8 running smoothly.
Fans of the V8 engine will salivate at the thought of this ‘stroker’ engine from Teague. Rated at a 1050 hp, it’s crammed full of high-end components. Most obvious is the 4.5L Whipple Supercharger, which is fed cool air by a MOAIC Cupronickel Intercooler. Another looker, the 1050 is finished off with colour-matched billet aluminium accessories and custom plumbing.
