Numarine is strengthening its foothold in the Middle East by showcasing the 32XP superyacht at the 30th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS), scheduled to take place in the state-of-the-art Dubai Harbour from February 28 to March 3, 2024. This marks the first time the company introduces one of its oceangoing explorers to the Persian Gulf.
Numarine’s founder and chairman, Ömer Malaz, commented, “This is a significant milestone for our company. We believe the Middle East offers tremendous potential for yachting experiences. The region has already established itself as an international hub for tourism, finance, and aviation, and there is every reason for it to become a prominent marine centre as well. Our expedition yachts are particularly well-suited, allowing owners to easily explore the Gulf region, as well as destinations like the Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius, Madagascar, and other enchanting places in the Indian Ocean due to their impressive range.”
The Middle East continues to emerge as a crucial focal point for yacht owners, a trend underscored by Numarine's own success.
The company has already secured sales for two expedition superyachts destined for clients in the Middle East, with the first set for delivery in a few weeks and the second scheduled for 2025.
At DIBS, Numarine will present MASHA, the fourth hull in the successful 32XP range. This model boasts generous internal living spaces, facilitated by its steel hull construction and GRP superstructure. These features enable both the shipyard and owners to craft unique layouts internally and customise external spaces. The exterior design is the work of Can Yalman, the renowned design partner of Numarine. The yacht is special also because she features the interior decoration package that was created by Milan-based Hot Lab studio (part of the Viken Group).
With a displacement of just under 300 GT, the maximum limit for its category, the 32XP affirms its superiority in terms of volume. The main deck of the 32XP features a spacious cockpit. The salon leads to a lobby housing a gym and a forward master cabin with separate bathrooms. A fully functional kitchen and crew quarters ensure top-notch service. Below the deck, there are four guest cabins. The upper deck boasts a 40-square-metre owner’s cabin with its own terrace. The flybridge offers 60 square metres of entertainment space, complete with couches, a dining table, sunpad areas, a bar, and a helm station.
In terms of performance, the 32-metre superyacht, a result of collaboration between the yard and its long-standing partner naval architect Umberto Tagliavini, boasts an efficient displacement hull, allowing for a top speed of 14 knots, a cruise speed of 12 knots, and an impressive 4,000nm range at an economical speed of 8 knots.
During the design of the 32XP, Numarine, with the assistance of its longstanding partner Silent Line, paid meticulous attention to reducing all noise and vibration sources. The superyacht has not only surpassed DNV Class 1 Comfort Class Requirements (which are more stringent than RINA) but has also achieved comfort levels comparable to those of a high-quality 50-metre megayacht in a 32-metre superyacht.
Numarine is a European builder of high-performance, luxury explorer yachts based in Istanbul. The brand celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2022 and has delivered over 160 units since it was founded by Ömer Malaz.
