50 Years of Boot Düsseldorf

This year, 2000 companies from 73 countries (including the UAE and Oman) are exhibiting, filling 16 halls of the huge Messe Düsseldorf complex. Shipyards from every corner of the globe have over 1500 craft on display, with many word premiers, including the Pershing 8X.

Shipyards

Shipyards including Azimut-Benetti, Ferretti Group, Gulf Craft, Sunreef, Sunseeker, Tankoa and Princess are all at the show. Boot Düsseldorf is one of the few trade fairs that offers visitors such variety and depth in its exhibits. Also, the visitors themselves are of great interest to the shipyards, as owners and enthusiasts from over 100 different countries will be passing through the Boot’s halls over the next nine days.

CHASE BOATS

Luxury tenders – or chase boats as they’re best known – are getting increasingly popular within superyacht circles. A chase boat tends to be larger and more luxurious than a normal tender with an emphasis put on style as well as practicality. These are essentially day boats for superyachts, with the new Wally concept being a prime example.

The 48 Wallytender concept will be completed for the Cannes Yachting Festival
Boot Düsseldorf takes place from the 19th to the 27th of January at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition centre.
